Do you have questions about windshield replacement? You might be able to find your answer here!
How do I know if my windshield needs to be repaired or replaced?
If there is a fresh chip in your windshield, that will likely only require a windshield repair. Additionally, cracks smaller than a quarter can also be repaired most of the time. However, if a crack is larger than a quarter or if a chip is left untreated in your windshield for a long time, you could be looking at a full replacement.
Do I have to come to you?
Yes, for a replacement, you will have to come by one of our shops in Russellville or Fort Smith. For small repairs, we offer our mobile windshield repair service, where we can meet you wherever you are, but we do require more specialized equipment for a replacement.
Replacing a windshield can typically be completed in less than an hour. However, you do need to wait a full hour after the repair to safely drive your vehicle again.
Is there a risk of my vehicle being harmed in the process?
No, your vehicle is not at risk of being damaged during a replacement. Our technicians are highly trained in these processes, so you can rest easy that your car is in very capable hands.
How much will a windshield replacement cost?
The cost can vary, depending on the location and severity of the damage. You can ask your technician for a free estimate before they start repairing the damage, so you won’t be caught off guard once the work is completed.
Do you provide a guarantee?
We guarantee the workmanship on all glass replacements for the life of the vehicle, and we guarantee repairs not to spread.
Is windshield replacement covered by insurance?
Coverage varies by insurance provider, but if you have full coverage, you can usually expect for them to help pay for a new windshield. Your insurance likely will not cover the full cost, but it can help decrease it considerably.
